What takes a good few hours to be machined can me done faster and cheaper by forging with a drop hammer. This process is also resulting into less wasted material. Very impressive working with so much power. The fireball is formed on purpose …the forger throws forging oil over the iron for two reasons. To remove the scale that is forming during the heating process with the blast and to prevent the iron from sticking to the dies. Very impressive movie i hope you like it to.
